What is Procurement audits?

So, What is Procurement audits?

1 Answer

Procurement audits are structured reviews of how both the buyer and seller have carried out the procurement process. From the buyer’s point of view, the procurement audit will check that the procurement process has been carried out as planned and documented in the procurement management plan, right through to whether or not the seller met the terms and conditions of a negotiated contract.

From the seller’s point of view, the procurement audit will determine whether the procurement process as planned and documented has been followed, for everything from responding to initial procurement requests through to product delivery and warranty requirements .
